Fuji 4x are the new Taiyo Yuden DVD-R?

This is pure speculation, but the dvd media code on the Fuji 4x I picked up at Best Buy read tyg01, a search from google shows that TDK 4x has the same media code.

I was wondering if these are the 4x Tayou Yudens as Fuji DVD-R 2x media code was taiyoyuden.

I don't know about the DVD-R's, but the DVD+R's I bought at Best Buy had a media code: Media code/Mfr ID RICOHJPNR00

That is the same media code as the old FujiFilms DVD+R.

well the new 4x speed is different disk than their 2x

4x silver frosted top lt purple bottom media code tyg01
2x silver smooth top dark purple bottom media code taiyoyuden

I haven't posted it on the dvd media section as I haven't burned the 4x yet, as there I still have quite a few 2x left.
