PC Club!!!
Internet Prices

$50/50pk
Depends on who is having the best sale at the time.
Office Max, Office Depot, Best Buy.
Wal-Mart is down to $11.96 for a 5 pack of Maxell +R's in pretty jewel cases!Just what is this reality thing anyway?
Um, I hate to nitpick but shouldn't it be:
tgpo, The DVD Fairy
Unless you live by an ocean, lake or fjord then I guess it would be ok.
Good call. And I do live kinda close to the ocean.Originally Posted by LanceSteel
Thanks.
if I need some in a hurry - Best Buy
if MicroCenter is throwing a sale - MicroCenter
but the majority of my discs have come from Meritline.
*but my fresh lot of cases came free from Blockbuster Video - woo hoo!*- housepig

Housepig Records
out now:
Various Artists "Six Doors"
Unicorn "Playing With Light"
8) Sams Club: DVD+R: 30 for $46
CD-R: Anyplace where 100 < $25
Online Stores - Buy the hundred spindles.
Meritline, Supermedia Store, Shop4Tech, etc. I tend to plan ahead. BestBuy is a big rip off.

I wonder what the breakdown is from DVD+R and DVD-R. I can pretty much guarantee the buying trends for +R are more store-driven, while the -R are more online-driven sales.
I'm not online anymore. Ask BALDRICK, LORDSMURF or SATSTORM for help. PM's are ignored.
Target, BestBuy, CompUSA, OfficeDepot. I don't plan on buying media online.
I haven't bought any media on-line yet. However if/when I purchase a dvd burner I think that on-line will be far cheaper than any of our local stores can deliver (at least for a while anyway)
i never bought online ,,,live in Australia and dvd media still expensive,,,,,50 pack is about $120,,,,cd/r very cheap,,,50 pack $15
very behind here
I would probably save money if I bought media online, but haven't yet. Usually I run out and need discs quickly so I just go to Best Buy. If I get ambitious I'll find online store to buy media.
I buy all my computer stuff including media online.
UNLESS there is a great sale at a store. I've gotten CDR CDRW for free in 50 and 100 packs from circuit city and Best Buy several times after rebate
Well maybe not free, I did lose on the sales tax and 32 cents for postage, har har, for 100 16x disks that burned at 32x just fine in my 52x burner!
Sometimes I luck out and can get a great deal on a larger retail Hard drive from Best buy than I can buy oem online for. SOmetimes with and sometimes without having to mess with a rebate.
My problem is I live in the boonies, about 150 mile to any major store (other than wallmart) like Best buy. So I don't have much choice anyway but to buy online for major pc stuff.
I know that feeling!Originally Posted by overloadeded_ide
