about converting rm or ram file

hello everybody,

can any one tell me how to convert a real player file thatis .ram or .rm file to mpeg or mpg or dat .is there any free software to convert it and is there any software to join small mpeg files like i have many small small file which i want to join into one single file.please relpy me

This question has been asked alot and I give you the same answer that they gave me, it is not easy to convert rm to mpeg and probably not possible. If you look at the convert section in this website they suggest a product called tinra. I have tried it and it fails every time, it can only convert som rm's and not most. The best method at present that works is a screen capture program that captures the picture and sound as it is playing, but I have found that the quality is not so good, for me anyway. I have given up on trying to convert rm's maybe someone will come up with a program one day that will do it.

On the upside rms can be joined with real producer if the rm's are all of the same spec. Download the free producer from real and issue this line.

"C:\Program Files\Real\RealProducer\RMEditor.exe" -i "Movie1.rm" -i "Movie2.ram" -o "output.rm" they join OK if both are the same spec.
