  1. i want to buy the pioneer a06 burner' but i think he can`t burn on 9 gig disk`s' so my question is .. can i write on 2 different 4.7 disk`s a 9 gig movie ( without split the movie manualy on the computer..i mean that the a06 will do the split without my intervention ) i mean that i will insert a dvd9\10 to my dvdrom ant a 4.7 blank dvd to the a06 and when the disk is full he will tell me to insert a new blank disk
and another question.. can the pioneer a06 write on dual layer disk`s

i dont know what to buy ....the pioneer dvr a06 or the lg gma 4040b?
    what do you recommend?

  2. In a word. No.

It is not possible in the way that you stated it. It would require input on your part using an outside program to split and reauthor the dvd-9.

    so how can i burn a dvd9?
You can't. No dual-layer burners or blanks exist, in any format, and it is unlikely that they ever will.

Yes, for every commercial movie anyway, due to encrypting which is basically copy protection. Isn't it amazing what a little bit of reading turns up!
