Phillips Dvd player freezes an skip

Hi I would like to know if anyone can help me or has the same problem as i have, This is the second time i bought this dvd player , just about a month and started having some problems with it freezing and skipping in the middle of a disc. I dont know what the problem is . but my old dvd player does the same too. Im thinking that all dvd player arent worth to buy .

if the films on cheap media and burnt too fast,or even burnt with nero,it just seems to skip and pause after ,roughly half a disc.
i had that problem with my dvd player and dvds burnt with nero,until i changed software,now,no probs at all.
if its happening on originals too,then the batch of players may be faulty,take it up with the store.

just out of interest, which software did you switch to? thinking of investigating something else, Nero isn't giving me great results, be nice to step straight to a solution with no coasters!
