    Hi,
    I have a movie encoded with Divx in .avi format. When I convert to VCD, the subtitle is so close to the bottom of the frame, very hard to read when viewing on normal 4:3 TV. Is there a way to add a black bar at the bottom of the frame to raise the title up a little bit?

    TMPGEnc>Video Arrange Method and select "Full screen(keep aspect ratio)".

    Hi,
    Thanks for the advice. I actually set the Video Arrange Method to Center (custom size) and size 350 x 220. This leaves a small black bar at top and bottom.
