    Hola,
    I have a HP DVD200j +R/RW installed on an XP box. Upon my last reboot the DVD drive won't recognize DVDs anymore. I will read CDs w/o issue but won't recongize DVD+R, DVD+RW or store bought DVDs. I updated the firmware, uninstalled the device and still nothing. I can;'t find anyhting of use on either HP or MS's sites. Anyone here help me? PLEASE!?!?!?!

    It looks like your laser for DVD has gone bad. Can you still write to a +RW or +R disk?
