    i dl bunch movie trailers that i want to burn on my dvd
    they are all in mov format
    so can any1 explain to me how to burn dvd from that format ?

    You can use TMPGenc with the 'MOV' plugin (see the tools section on the left), to convert these files to DVD format.

    Then just use any DVD authoring/burning software to make your disk.
