error message ffmpegX

hi to all,i have a problem with ffmpegX 0.0.6m i have an uncompressed .mov file i got from my video redigering software i wanna make a SVCD of that movie using ffmpegX but each time i get this error message in the terminal

i have a ti800,the movie file is 44gb in my external firewire hard drive and i use mac os 10.2.5.thks a lot for any input.

Could you please copy and paste what you have in your "Open..." field before hitting the "Encode" button.

the path was like that : /Volumes/Scratch/Séquence 1.mov
and then i remembered about spaces and stuff so i tried with that path(changing the name of the source file) : /Volumes/Scratch/Séquence1.mov
but no luck the message error is this one(i think still the same) :

It could be the accent. Try removing it.

it worked!! htks for ur help major.btw i film with a sony dcr pc8 miniDV PAL,then edit and burn a svcd but it seems the quelity could be better,is there some quality settings to change within ffmpegX? thks for any tips.
