    i went to my cousins to watch a vcd and his dvd player (Sony DVP-S536D DVD Player) doesn't accept them and says 'no disc'. I would like to know any hacks for it mainly the vcd/svcd enable but anything would be much appreciated. ok. thankyou. plz plz help!

    it looks like the only hack is a region and macrovision hack.

    I don't know if there are hacks to enable VCD support or the like - that seems to me something that, if they could do it, there's no reason not to enable it... unlike region-free capabilities and turning off macrovision.
