I was googling for Theater 200 and Gpu looking for models too look for in the used market

    and found this page http://ixbtlabs.com/articles2/video/r600-part2.html

it's the same rage theater 200 like the old all in wonder series

Could i install MMC 9.02 and run videosoap with those ??

if the answer is no .. what would be the top 3 used ati cards too took for

it's an old subject but my old all-in-wonder ve is dying out
and want to have a good pvr for the next decade

is it possible to give my aiw ve a repair .. i hear that bad ati setup could hurt the card

The card you are looking at uses VIVO, but I found nothing that said what capture software is provided with it, or what third party capture software can work with it.

I looked at AMD's web pages for ATI Multimedia Center but only the graphics cards mentioned are in the All-In-Wonder series. https://a248.e.akamai.net/f/674/9206/0/www2.ati.com/drivers/mmc_916_release_notes.html

Read through this: ATI All In Wonder Hacks, Drivers, Codecs and MMC

One of my most recent posts there has the software that should permit capture, if it's possible. ATI MMC 9.16 is what you'll need. All the drivers, etc are available at that link for download. As "outdated" as some people may (mistakingly) think ATI cards are, that site gets a remarkable amount of daily/weekly traffic dedicated to ATI card support -- even if none is available from ATI anymore.

At one point in time, ATI phone support referred users to digitalFAQ.com

The link contains the release notes for ATI Multimedia Center Version 9.16, and it works fine for me. Maybe it doesn't work for you because it is on the US support site.

I found it through the "Release Notes" link near the top of the download page for ATI Multimedia Center Version 9.16 http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/mmc9-16.aspx

If that link doesn't work either I guess you need to look for the download page on your end if you want to read the release notes. Google doesn't find an AMD support site for Canada when I looked for one.

If that is the case, you should probably look for an AIW AGP card that originally came with one of the right versions of ATI Multimedia Center. There is no guarantee an older version of ATI Multimedia Center will work with a video card that came out later.

ended up bying and old all-in-wonder 9800 pro AGP (128 mb)

was like new , with the remote all the cds cables etc

looked very clean .. i think it was a good buy even for 80$

if i guessing right i think it may be the last card produced by ati supporting videosoap
