I've been authoring a few songs lately, and I don't want anybody to be able to wipe out my copyright info. Are there any audio conversion utilities out there that I should be aware of that pirates can use to steal my music by "cleaning" my info?

    Thanks

Are you considering the use of DRM (Windows Media, Apple, etc.)? Any conversion software could potentially wipe out (or not keep) the metadata/tag info when converting the song. Heck, I don't even know if the YouTube downloaders would keep any such info intact for anything grabbed from YouTube (since, as I recall, you are using YT for a few things)... then again, YouTube's re-encoding probably strips it all, anyway.

  3. Contact Cinavia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cinavia

Or look into audio steganography. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steganography

Of course, there's nothing technical you can do to stop pirates. Only to identify what's yours for future legal action.
