im trying dvdflick, do you know how long it would take to convert full filled dvd , stupid me thought it would take 10 mins, now i see it can take 2 hours. also does the tool allow me to do this

i select all the avi files i want,

Lots of variables there but the most important one is the speed of your CPU, as an average using a 3ghz P4 it will take 45 min. to an hour to convert 1 hour of DV-AVI. Double for a 2.8, quadruple for a 2.6...etc There's a lot of other factors that can affect the time however.

How much you can fit on a DVD is relative to the bitrate, you can get almost 8 hours on a single layer DVD but that is very low quality video. Not famialiar with the tool you're using so I can't tell you the how.
