Hello. I have searched this board(and other places) but it seems like most of the stuff that I have come up with has been outdated. Or I just could not understand the information that I saw.

Here is an example of the type of video that I would like to download.

    http://wgntv.com/2014/09/08/heres-what-parents-should-know-about-respiratory-virus-ev-d68/

Whenever I open this link in my firefox browser, my "video helper" tool is able to see the assorted f4f files and it also lets me download these onto my computer.

However, at that point, I do not what to do next. I would like to convert these multiple 4f4 files into a single mp4 file.

    Thanks,

    TC

  3. Google is your friend:

    http://www.idealshare.net/video-converter/f4f-converter.html

There are plenty of other hits if you search on "f4f file".

Good luck, and let us know what works for you!

I did try google. I have already searched several places but still do not have a solution that works for me.

I chuckled when I saw your link to mozilla. It is a year old, and the very first response on that thread says "this does not work."

I also tried idealshare and it did not work either.

I have been seeing more and more of this f4f content. It seems that some of it may be encrypted, and that might be part of the difficulty that I am encountering.

  6. True Colors: I chuckled when I saw your link to mozilla. It is a year old, and the very first response on that thread says "this does not work."
Hmmm . . . . note to self: True Colors posts a request for help, bumps it when no one responds, then when someone does respond (but not to his liking), he chuckles (mocks?). "True Colors," indeed.
