  1. Goal is to put DVD onto USB Flash Drive stripping out all audio except Spanish to save space. USB will be played on LG-HS201 projector being powered by battery pack in remote jungle environment. Screen, projector and batterys will fit in back pack Weight, and power consumption critical.
If DVD player not needed weight and power consumption can be reduced.

Convert your dvd with this information in mind.

Anything from handbrake to format factory would be good to use. Rip for free with the free version of dvd fab decrypter than convert using the programs I mentioned.

Edit - it does say it can play a vob file but it also has a 4gb file limitation so you'd have to transcode with dvdshrink to under 4gb if you wanted to that route. Or just use divx and set your file output to under 4gb and you are good to go.
Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?

  4. Have accomplished a lot from starting with no experience. Have ripped DVD, removed all unneeded languages, compressed needed segments with DVD Shrink. Encoded segments into individual AVI files with WinFF and tested from USB in projector OK!
Now I just need to do a little trimming of the files and combine into one. Will try Pinnacle Video spin.

This whole project is being done for a friend my only reward, a cup of coffee and a big thank you.
