I have a film that I would like to convert to .avi (so I can watch it on a TV,) but I really have no idea how to do so. The film is currently in .mp4 format. I tried some of the programs on the sticky, but none of them would either accept the format or work at all. The film is only 1.5GB so I don't want to compress it any smaller, and I don't want to lose quality or frame rate when converting either. Can anyone help? I have access to Sony Vegas Pro, and can get access to Adobe Premiere. Thankyou!
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

And your tv only supports avi divx/xvid? And no HD-avi?
Then will you lose quality. But use any all-in-one converter like freemake videoconverter, xmedia recode and use avi xvid/dvd player profiles.
