  1. Hi.

    I bought a BD writer (HL-DT-ST BD-RE WH12LS39) yesterday.
I'm trying to see the root directory of a DVD+R DL (dual layer DVD), recorded with a 3d movie. If I use windows Explorer, the pane where I would find the folders and files, shows up empty. If I use DirectoryOpus, it gives an error saying that the volume does not contain a known file system, and recomends to get all the system drivers and files to load the content.

If I use Cyberlink tools (which came with the writer) to copy that disc or to play the movie, it runs fine. It means that the device seems OK.

Now what? I'm not experienced with BD and DVD+R DL writers and discs. I'd like to browse the files and see the DVD content tree. I also looked for firmware update, but there is none.

    Any idea?
    Thank you.

    Absolutely right, my dear Baldrick!
Yes, I'm using XP-SP3, and on my system was lacking this UDF reader.

Fast and hit the bull's eye!
