On caps from digibox i'm seeing disturbances in red that don't make too much sense. They aren't in the source signal.. setup is a few devices to an svideo switchbox which is on an input to my av amp.. one of the video outputs from the amp feeds the capture card. The disturbances in reds i'm seeing on the caps don't show up when viewing digital tv and i don't see the same problem in other feeds to the switcher [dvd/vhs] so am a bit perplexed.. i'm using the same shielded ofc svid cables throughout.. why am i getting this distortion?

Update on this.. i've since troubleshot this a bit more and there is disturbance from other sources.. using a disc with strong red on the menu i hooked up direct from dvd svid over good qual cable to the cards input [svid] and there's still a little observable flickering in the reds.. so i guess its the card.. interference from the pc?
