    I wonder I wonder, and I do try to figur this out by myself, still I would like to know the FORUMS opinion on this topic.

    IS there or has there been any working software NLE for linux based os or is it futile.

    Cinelerra is about the only/best one i know that is main stream ... though there are some fairly high end apps for video and film that run on some *nix platforms
