mkv2vob - smaller files than original and black screen with no audio!??

mkv2vob v2.4.9.
the last week I had several cases of mkv files that is around 5 GB and when I demux them it gets at least 1 GB smaller than the original (without transcoding!). When I later try to play them in my ps3 they wont start ...just black screen with no audio. And when I get info about the file it said 2 channel pcm?! should be 5.1. I never had this problem before and now its 5 times in one week!?! I also tried to install v.2.4.7 but it came out with the same result. I have checked the configuration 20 times and it should be ok; file split: fat32(4gb), vt auto, ofe auto, output type file,

please help!

You could try make a m2ts or mp4 with https://www.videohelp.com/tools/sections/all-in-one-mkv-to-mp4-avchd-ts and see if it works better.

thanks for reply. I tried once again and install 2.4.7....unplug internet cable to avoid upgrade and voila it works have to wait for a better upgrade before i check "automatic update"
