Hello,
I want to backup some mkv action movies to xvid AVI in 2-pass (discard) mode with some filters in virtualdubmod.
My question is should I create the pass file with all of the filters (that really slows the 1st pass down) or can I just do the 1st-pass without any filters to speed it up then add filters only to 2nd pass?
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

Filters should definitely be applied in both passes. Since action movies come with loads of motion, a faster no-filter 1st pass will significantly drain quality of your output.
