  1. Is it possible? Like in DVDx and/or any other program that uses MPEG-4 codecs. I REALLY need for it to be possible. Thanks!

  3. Your post is lacking lots of info, but you can use AVISynth to get around 2GB limits.
    Ejoc's CVD Page:
    DVDDecrypter -> DVD2AVI -> Vobsub -> AVISynth -> TMPGEnc -> VCDEasy

    DVD:
    DVDShrink -> RecordNow DX

    Capture:
    VirualDub -> AVISynth -> QuEnc -> ffmpeggui -> TMPGEnc DVD Author

  4. Well basically what I'm asking is, is there any way to create an AVI file larger than 4GB using DVDx? Or, is there any other DVD to AVI ripper that's not DVD2AVI that's as easy as DVDx and that supports OpenDML or AVI2 or anything that can get my AVI file to be over 4GB and work?

    Any response will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

  5. Are you NTFS. FAT32 will not create files larger then 4gb.

    You can save as segmented avi in virtualdub. Then it will be splitted to several 2GB files but when you open the first one in virtualdub it will autodetect the rest of them.

    To open a very big avi you can open it via avisynth OpenDMLSource and then open the avisynth script file (avs) into virtualdub.
