    Is there a way to specify the coding on the subtitle file for mp4box (e.g. ANSI vs utf-8)? Since I'm not using English subtitles I need support for foreign characters, specifically Traditional Chinese. Although I see an option for language it doesn't seem to work with Asian characters.

    I suppose you would have to convert your subtitle to the .TTXT format first

    IIRC, .ttxt files must be encoded in UTF-8, BUT they also should specify the required fonts.

    AFAIK, there are NO "Far East language characters" in trivial fonts like Times New Roman or Arial.
