  1. Hi,

    I have created an SRT file using VisualSubSync, and when I open it in notepad it appears as below (A). My problem is, I need it to appear like below (B)
    Could someone please help to advise how I can achieve this…
    Many thanks
    Steve
    ---------------------------------
    (A)
    1
    00:00:12,952 --> 00:00:16,470
    Passion is defined as a deep, intense,
    2
    00:00:16,590 --> 00:00:19,596
    driving emotion about a person or thing.
    3
    00:00:20,330 --> 00:00:23,681
    In a world where 75% of people feel
    4
    00:00:23,801 --> 00:00:25,760
    disconnected from their jobs…
    5
    00:00:25,962 --> 00:00:28,023
    imagine the huge impact
    ------------------------------------------------------------
    (B)
    01:00:12:23,01:00:14:22,Winning the negotiation game.
    01:00:16:17,01:00:19:02,When was the last|time you negotiated?
    01:00:20:04,01:00:21:30,And how important was it?
    01:00:22:14,01:00:24:29,What kind of a bottom line|difference did it make
    01:00:25:29,01:00:29:18,Don't we negotiate in virtually|every communication
    01:00:29:18,01:00:31:10,we have with|another individual.
    01:00:31:23,01:00:33:17,Whether it be at|work or at home

  3. The translator is accustomed to receiving it in that format. I would prefer to have everything on one line to make his job easier
    thanks

    Try subtitle edit and save as adobe encore,if its not close enough just try a few more formats that subtitle edit will save as,if its possible ask the person what format they require.

  6. (b) looks like .ass, so converting .srt to .ass might do the trick
