    hauppauge hdpvr, original.

    it occured to me to that the bitrate reported by mediainfo seems wrong. i ran a bunch of tests for 9Mbps and 13.0Mbps and these are the results, below. plus, the bitrate mode seems wrong. i always set to Constant, not VBR. but mediainfo reports vbr. i wonder if it is mediainfo or happauge driver problem.

    is there another bitrate reporting app i can test these files on ?

    thanks, i have tested it out but the video files are still showing VBR.

    i don't know what other tests that i can run to determine cbr vs vbr. i always thought it was using cbr.
