  1. I used to use that to extract a dvd into a single VOB file. I'd make some edits using MPEG Streamclip, re-save the VOB and make a new dvd without having to re-encode. My google search came up empty.

    Someone recommended MDRP a while back ...

    Once the disc has been ripped, concatenated or segmented, it is easy to process in MPEG Streamclip, as that will open a single large VOB as well as a DVD structure with several VOB files.
