I've captured a few .flv stream from YouTube to file and have run into an error I can't seem to solve. Most of the files playback fine, but some produce an error. I've attempted playback with Windows MediaPlayer, MediaPlayer Classic, and with the integrated player in WinFF.
All files playback correctly with the integrated player in WinFF, but that player is just for verifying files pre-conversion. It lacks even the simplest of controls. Windows Media Player plays the audio track for all the "problem" files, but not the video. Media Player Classic will not play the files at all and produces the following error:
Media Type 0:The "problem" files are both new and old posts to YouTube so I doubted my flash codec was out of date, but I already tried installing the latest Flash Player from Adobe, anyway. It didn't solve the problem.

Why can WinFF play these files, but other players cannot? Why does the video render fine in stream, but the same data captured to file not?
I'm not a videophile, I just wanted to capture a few files to play at presentations where I will not have internet access to stream them. Here's a link to the original stream of one "problem" file. All suggestions are appreciated.
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!
