    Hello guys!

My friend wants to capture 50P full HD lossless video from a camcorder with FFV1 (ffdshow version)

However 50P FFV1 codec recording seems too slow, and it didn't use very properly the multicore capacity of of his Core I7 CPU. Its maximal CPU usege is only 60 percent....

Are there any possibility to record and play FFV1 videos faster, with the better usage of the capabilities of the modern processors ?

    Thank you for your reply!

if it needed more cpu it would have used it. not sure how you came to the conclusion it was "slow"? maybe try something like the lossless UT codec.

    Hello!

"if it needed more cpu it would have used it." That is absolutely NOT TRUE! It use maximum 60% of the CPU!!! And that is the MAIN problem with FFV1 codec.

Who are the developers of this codec? Do they an e-mail address?
