highlight the avi and srt, right click on them and select option SENDT TO CD, "open" the drive where you sent the files to and there will an option in left top corner of the screen "BURN FILES" select that and follow the instructions
I love it when a plan comes together! -
i have tried this method.. i am able to burn it but i can't play it on my DVD player.. does DVD player don't support .avi file..??

Avi files only work on some DVD players. To make a standard DVD, you need to convert it to MPEG.
There are a few free all-in-one apps that can do this. AVI2DVD is one that supports subtitles.
Also ConvertXtoDVD isn't free, but you can use the trial version which watermarks the video.
There are many other ways to do this:
( see https://www.videohelp.com/tools?convert=AVI%20to%20DVD)
but these are the simplest.
