    Hi,

Is there any way to increase the vertical space between the lines in ass subtitle file or to make each line in a separate opaque box with extra space between the lines?
I was trying to find the solution on the Internet but I didn't find anything usefull. Do you know any freeware or commercial program which can do that (on Windows platform)?

    Yours sincerely,
    S.P.

  2. I don't think line spacing is supported, but you can set positions of individual lines:
    "\pos(<X>,<Y>)"
    See http://docs.aegisub.org/3.2/ASS_Tags/

This would require each line to be in its own event.
Separate opaque boxes would require separate subtitle events anyway.

You can also make the font itself taller:
    "\fscy<scale>"

    Hi,

Thanks for your reply. I tried Override tags you suggested, but at the moment i didn't achieve satisfactory result. With {\pos(X,Y)} I am able to position subtitle on a different location at the screen, but the opaque boxes from the breaked lines are still sticked together. The lines have breaks (\N), but the Override tags should appear at most once in a line. I tried various combinations (with and without \N breaks) but with no results. Anyway, that method require you to write line by line, and that is tedious work which I don't know how to automate.

If you have any example or further suggestions, I would be gratefull.

    Yours sincerely,
    S.P.
