  1. I am confused with applying transition effect of Vegas pro 13
The program will lengthen the clips itself ,
so the scene during transition is not what I want
    I have recorded the screen
    Anyone know what's wrong ?

  2. Don't count on Vegas or any NLE to "lengthen the clip." Trim the clip so you have enough heads and tails overlap to make the transition you intend.

Each clip is 6 mins length , transition only take 5 seconds , why u say the clips don't have enough heads and tails to overlay ?
Do I misunderstand your meaning ?

Have you dragged the event edges to overlap first? Try dragging the events to overlap instead.

A "Transition" is a blend of the end of the first video to the beginning of the next one. So a transition can only be applied to the overlap area, if you're using a canned transition.

Push the two ends together, so they overlap, and right click to choose the canned transition. It's as simple as falling off a log.
