  1. Hi,

i recently downloaded the nero aac codec but im not sure where to put it or what because when i open virtualdub i cant find it among the audio codecs. Does it need to be installed or something?

    Thank you.

  2. nero aac is a command line encoder, so you can't use it directly with vdub

AFAIK , there is no aac acm encoder (There are decoders)

You can either frameserve or use the vdub external encoder feature

  3. Thats a pity. For some reason i dont have the option for using the external encoder. And as for frameserving, i tried recently with Hybrid which worked but it also messed up my mpeg codecs for some reason so i had to uninstall Hybrid. Thank you anyway.
