Is there anyway to take the subtitles from a SD-DVD and add them to a BlueRay file or disk which does not have any subtitles?
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

Yes. But you will lose the blu-ray menus. Extract the subs from the dvd with vsrip. Convert to srt. Reauthor the blu-ray with multiavchd and the new subs.

Just to be clear you understand, there is no program equivalent to VOBBlanker for BluRay discs and thus no way to simply add a new audio or subtitle track to a BluRay rip and keep the menus like you can with DVD. If you want to add anything at all to a BluRay rip, you have to author a new BluRay disc, which means whatever menus you have will be limited to whatever you can create with a tool like multiavchd.
You could convert the ripped movie to MKV file easily enough without converting or re-encoding anything and just add the subtitles to the MKV file. I don't do that so I'm not sure that you need, but I think that a program called MakeMKV can convert rips to MKV.
