Can anybody view/dl this youtube video beyond 144p ?

there's no choice to select more than 144p, and when I download the video I just get a 144p file. But the original upload definitely was no 144p file.

So what make you think the original is higher than 144p ?

The displayed video is very low definition.

There are, potentially, 2 versions available.

The 360p one would not download. The one that did download is 160*120 which would go some way to explain the poor display.

144p ?? what did you get ?

I too get 160*120, but I'm quite sure that I viewed the video at 240p some months ago, at least this was what the browser said then. The 144p dl was with a different video where I have the same problem

ok, the one you mention has 480p right now, but it seems as if some videos would loose quality over the years, for example videos at
