Capturing and color corrections results - which software to use ?

Hi!

I bought new PCIe Startech HDMI Capture Card.

Software for capturing is ok, but allows not to correct ideally colors, brightness, saturation, gamma etc.

So, I'm using Cyberlink PowerDirector (old release bought earlier) to correct it and it's too not ideal.

I'm searching for software for correction colors, brightness, saturation, gamma and more for videos and images too.

Can anybody help me where to find any, ideally freeware?

And now I'm confused - at startup it reports "License not found"

What it means if it is freeware?
