Hi my name is T. Shabazz. I'm new to the blu ray world and I have some questions. Quite a few to be honest, so thank you in advance for your help.
I understand most of what I've learned about Blu ray so far. I understand the license fees. The website for the firm I spoke with indicated that it had the license fee of $500, a "stamper" fee of $500 per title which is unavoidable, and then ON TOP of that, fees for authoring services. so...
What is this stamper fee?
Do all firms have a stamper fee?
What is the glass master? Is stamper fee associated with glass master?
Where do I get this glass master?
Do I give the glass master to the firm?
As far as authoring:
I have a variety of video items, each of which lasts a different duration of time. I know which order I want them arranged in. I know how much time i want to pass between end of and begining of each item. Each video item will be complete and ready for arranging.
some of the items will be computer generated.
What affect will that play on my project?
So where am I?
What more should I know?
Can anyone direct me to someone in the Phoenix area, qualified to assist me more closely?
Thank you so much for your help!!
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

You may want to talk to the people here: http://www.cineomatic.com/
They do Blu ray stamping and may be able to answer your questions. -
The discs are physically stamped to create them. Here's a link that explains some of the process. It's about DVDs but the process is identical for BluRay, just that BluRay uses different media on the created disc.

The company you use for stamping will create the glass master for you. You will have to pay a stamper fee with any company you use.
Unless your source files are high definition, paying for BluRay is way overkill if DVD would also work for you. I would just assume that the company you propose using can author the files you provide them in the way in which you specify.
