    Please advise.

    I burnt old iMovie HD projets to DV (full quality) for archival purposes.

    Later I created Disc Images from the DV's, using these settings in Toast 10:

    When played on my iMac the SD video's from the disc images look like they should:

    But, when burnt to DVD (again by using Toast), they look bad on my standalone DVD-players. There's some flickering, a stroboscopic effect:

    Any idea what's wrong?

  4. Your field dominance is wrong. Don't set it to automatic.

    Edit: just double checked your clips with Mediainfo. The bad clip is top field first, set your encoder to to lower or bottom field first.

    In the meantime I solved the problem by readjusting the settings in Toast.
