I have an M4V file and it has an AAC 2 channel stereo and AC-3 6 channel surround audio tracks. I want to select the AC-3 audio track for my final AVI output file. How do I select this audio stream in VirtualDub? I have the latest version VirtualDub, version 1.10.4. I tried VirtualDubMod, but that doesn't support MP4/M4V video files. Yes, I installed the plugins for both the MP4 and AC-3 files in the "Plugins" folder in VirtualDub.
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

Give mymp4boxgui a try, or mkvtoolnix/mkvmerge for an MKV file.

You should be able to select the audio track in vdub by audio=> source audio => (choose stream 1 or 2)
But some input plugins might only allow you to access track 1, so it depends on how you have it configured -
Demux the AC3 stream from the M4V file with MP4Muxer (or ffmpeg, or whatever). Then add the AC3 file to VirtualDub with Audio -> Audio From Another File.
