THandBrake (formerly Smallx264) is a batch GUI for Handbrake.
--Features
-Select between multiple audio/subtitle tracks or select all
-If subtitle file (srt) with same name as source exists, it can be soft-coded to output.
-Device profiles (Android, iPod etc)
-User profiles
-Preview option
-Portable version available
-Video Filters
-Manual or auto cropping
You can download setup from here.
Suggestions and bug reports are, as always, welcome.
Please note that this program uses the latest HandBrakeCLI build, so there can be problems. You can always download a different build, rename files properly and copy them to the program folder. As long as there are no command changes, it should work without a problem.
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

Not exactly.
There a couple of differences but summary is that TX264 offers more options and can encode to aac-he whereas smallx264 was intended to be small and easy.
Personally I use TX264 to encode anime content (x264 10bit+aac-he), for other content I use smallx264. TX264 is also better if you want internal subtitles to be copied to output. And I also don't like HB windows GUI myself . -

I guess you are missing the point that smallx264 is a totally different tool from official GUI or VidCoder. AFAIK offical GUI and VidCoder are developed using WPF while Delphi is used for Smallx264. It most likely won't run on win98 or ME because of unicode stuff but it should run on XP.
Edit: To make things even more clear, Smallx264 calls HandBrakeCLI to do the job. -

What sort of error do you get? Is it related to the GUI or HandBrakeCLI?
