    Hi i have lost my Base DVP Player Model No. CDP-006 remote control. I cant seem to find a contact No. for the manufacturers of the dvd player anywhere to try and buy a new control. Any idea what i can do, if there is a universal remote that will work with this player. The DVD player is a cheap one so not looking at spending much on a replacement control.

    Aldi had some recently, for about $15 I think. Not sure how good they are, but if it doesn't work they have a 60 day money back guarantee.

    Go to wal-mart or australian equivalent and buy a philips universal remote for around $10,chances are it will work.

    Cheers guys will try one out. I though some of these remote have a learn feature which means you aim the original remote at the universal remote so it learns its freaquency.

    Some remotes have the learn feature,its a bit more expensive but not useful if the original remote is lost or dont work at all.

    I have the same issue bought a universal remote but this model isn't listed. How can I find a code for it, or does someone have one?
