Hi, I've recently run into this weird problem while capturing video with virtualDub:
The audio seems to be muted when I'm in the "capture video" option of vDub, but the resulting file after the vid cap still have a correct video/audio sync.
I have no idea why this is happening... I've been using vDub to capture videos for years and this just all of a sudden started happening. I've checked the volume setting during capture and that's fine... I've tried capturing to mpg using the ATIMMC and that works fine (you can hear audio while you capture)... You can watch an outside video source fine (like ATIMMC TV)...
Audio just seems to mute itself during vDub capture.
I have different versions of vDub installed in my computer and all of them now suffer from the same problem.
This didn't start happening right after I had switched drivers, so the problem isn't a new driver messing me up.
Maybe something happened to my existing driver?
Anyone out there know why something like this would happen?
It's pretty annoying because I usually watch the videos as I capture them, but now it's pointless because there's no audio during capture.
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!
