How to convert .MOV to .MTS?

Hi all - I'm working on an art installation that uses 7 Sony digital photo frames to play video. The video player requires AVC-H264 files (.mts), and my video is quicktime (.mov) I shot at 720x480 resolution. So I need to convert .MOV to .MTS. I have looked into a number of the converters mentioned in this forum, and found nothing that works yet.

Looking for the best possible results - willing to pay for software if necessary. Mac only.

Have you tried multiavchd, avchdcoder, d2mp? None works?

Those are all windows apps. I'm working on a Mac.

OOps. Missed that I was in the mac section. I guess final cut pro x is a bit overkill....

tsMuxer GUI does it (it does not encode, just re-wrap to mts)

Look again. There is a download link for the OSX version of tsMuxeR (halfway down the page for this program in the VideoHelp tools section).
