    During a render, I can watch a few frames occasionally flash purple, and then at about 1% done it does fails regardless of whether the source video is adjusted to match output... I can;t find any graphics accelleration function to turn off or other fix:

    Just re-installed Driver version 285.62 "clean install" to reset all settings.

    when you render set vegas to only use the cpu. your video card is the problem, might be overheating or has bad ram.
