This may not be the right place to ask this question, but maybe I'll get some leads. I have a digital HB-710E/C Hi-Cam camera that I use to capture meteor images. It produces vertical stripes about 10 pixels wide. I have no idea why, but I've never seen anything like it from typical video b/w cameras. Any ideas what causes them? See attachment. You may have to fiddle a bit with contrast and brightness. With "normal" exposure settings they are not seen, but when I try to examine the image for reference stars by fiddling, then they become apparent.
