  1. I was uploading something with utorrent, and I noticed certain numbers at the bottom of the window. See screenshot red circle.
    My question is:
    1) what is this information? It doesn't look like the normal pattern for ip address (for example if I google "what's my ip")
    2) is this personal information belonging to specific people that could be traced back to the person?
    3) why is this information shown?

    uTorrent does a reverse dns lookup of connected peers. You can turn it off by right clicking in the list and uncheck "Resolve IPs". That info is traceable, depending on the cooperation of the ISP or vpn provider. As to why it is shown, you'd have to ask the developers.
