    Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permission to access the item"
    The Virus make your access permission disables. Whenever you are click the exe files or you are trying to open Control panel a message come like “Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permission to access the item"

    You may have accidentally deleted a file or something. I'm not really sure on what your asking but just try a virus scan using Malwaybytes Anti-Malware and you'll find out if you have a virus or not.

    By the way, I wouldn't use Trend Micro, I would use Avast Anti Virus or Avira AntiVir. They have free programs that are top rated AV's. Avast if you use a lot of email and IM and Avira if you just browse the web.
