Which one is (very) fast DVD -> MPEG4 (DivX/XviD) conversion tool ?

Quality of conversion is not so much important (should be at least satisfactory).
Tool should be (very) fast, allow for audio language selection on multilanguage DVD's, and also allow for subtitle selection on DVD's with subtitles in different languages.

    Thanks for any hint.

Just use AutoGK. Very easy to get set up and operational. Speed will depend on your encoding options and your cpu speed. Encoding is all cpu based and so has the greatest impact on conversion time.

The convert performance is more direct related to the codecīs performance than the tool. Of course Iīm speaking about VfW conversions tools.

I got more than 100fps conversion using DivX codec PRO with its multithread featurem in my Intel 6600 Core Quad (no overclock). The input file as a .VOB in one disk and the .avi output file was in another disk.

Ok, this was done setting the codec to 'Fastest' and in just one pass.

But I reallly dislike the output quality....
