  1. 1) For those who wanna create some scrolling subtitles texts in your videos, these program below can do that?

PS: I've heard that Sony Vegas may get these, but it's not freeware. So, I'm looking for some free tools that can handle that task.

    2) The program's author said too:

In the examples folder of your avisynth instalation there is a file called authors - I think it does what you're after.

Can you explain better how to proceed that job using Avisynth too?

I become very interested about subject when I saw one videoclip from Snow, a canadian rapper. He speak so fast that for subtitling his songs they needed to create a scroling subtitles text box/lyric to follow his voice.

So, I reallly wanna know how do the same effects on my videos too.

The goal is to create videos with such kind of scrolling text / subtitles:

  4. Avisynth is a scripting tool, it is very powerful but can take a lot of time to learn (even just the basics)

    http://avisynth.org/mediawiki/Main_Page

The example called "authors" gives a template of the code used for scrolling text vertically (as in movie credits) . You could just alter then names, colors, etc...and edit as you see fit

For horizontal scrolling text, it's probably easier to use .ass subs and use TextSub() to overlay. It has scrolling functions. Again this is based on avisynth

Most video editors will give you some capability but usually cost $. These editors will be easier to use, because no scripting is used.

A free editor is debugmode wax, that can do this, it even has some templates that you can apply for scrolling text (it has a star wars scrolling text template - tapered, but you can adjust it to make it look like normal movie)

  5. Hi.

Do you know the "command" to create horizontal and vertical scroll bars? Or right to left ones too, just like japanese anime subtitles? Or video clips's lyrics on the screen?

    Thanks !!

You have to learn some avisynth basics first and use Textsub() to overlay

The actual scrolling is a function of the .ass subs, and you can use aegisub to edit it

You can read the documentation in vsfilter for how to do this, including scrolling, colors, text fonts, effects etc....The command for horizontal scrolling effect is "banner" , for anime type scrolling effect

You can do it all with scripting instead of subs, but it's actually harder IMO to do it that way. Here is an example
    https://forum.videohelp.com/topic99389.html#textroll

You can search the anime forums for guides & tips, there is lots of information there as well

(be prepared to spend a few hours or weeks learning, but it's very simple once you get the basics)

    Cheers
