  1. Just bought one at Best Buy. Its a dual DVD Recorder/VCR unit. Have only played with it a little. However it is MUCH better than the equivilant SANSUI I bought at Sears and then returned.

    Noted Features, DVD -r/-rw machine. Upconverts VCR and TV signals to 480P and sends them out over the Componet and Digital Audio connections. (The Sansui sent DVD over componet and VCR over SVHS) Have already dumped a Home Video tape to a DVD -RW, Finalized it and it played fine on a Emerson DVD/TV combo. Has good MP3 support, long filenames, random etc...

    Downside has limited inputs. Only 1 AUX (composit) input on the back with no SVHS input, however it has an Aux input on the front that has a SVHS and DV inputs.

    Probally lots of other +'s and -'s, but I haven't really had time to work them out.

  2. The interesting thing about this one is that there is no info anywhere except Best Buy. At least I couldn't find any.
