I want to shrink the size (resolution) of the video and watermark it before uploading it to youtube. It will save time for uploading and go a lot faster. So, what's the easiest way to do this? or How can I automate this process?
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

Watermark Master, http://www.videocharge.com/Products/wm/wm_details.php , looks like the easiest way.
Or if you want a free tool you can use SUPER to batch convert, resize and also add a logo. Virtualdub and avidemux can also resize and add logos/watermark but aren't not as simple to batch/automate. -
I don't know what settings should my videos be at. I want to upload to youtube and get the BEST possible quality. What should I shrink it to and still have it maintain the best quality possible when viewing on youtube?

Why shrink the resolution at all, since they're just going to reencode it anyway? Send them the best possible quality source video.

For resizing I have had very good success with Avanti.
